I'm really proud to be a member of CyberSpacers. When I first saw
your new CyberSpacers of America gear, I just had to get a T-shirt.
I had my mom order one for me and I paid her back out of my
allowance. She says it's cool because it's not only a great shirt, the
money goes to the Robin Hood Relief Fund to help to rebuild after the terrorists
attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
We live far away from New York and Washington D.C., but we all
feel bad about it. Even with us living so far away, it hurts us bad,
On September 11th our teachers put on the TV for us to watch. It
was like it was happening right here in my own town. In some ways
it seems so far away then something happens to make you know
that it could happen to any one any where any minute.
The terrorists are still doing things to scare us and take away our
freedom. Even in our little town, where we normally feel safe, our
own college was shut-down. The FBI and a bunch of people in
space suits came to inspect it because of Anthrax . It looked like
the 'X-Files' -- but it turned out to be a joke. A very bad joke.
We were scared because something so bad could happen right here,
even to us.
Although we didn't know anybody who was hurt or killed in the
World Trade Center, my step-dad has some friends and clients who
had family that are still missing. So we were sad for them and their
Our teachers explain how President Bush is trying to help us by
getting rid of all the hate and terrorists in the world. And even
the world is a big place, sometimes it feels like it's in my own
I like super heroes and especially you, Super-C. I just wish that you
could come flying out of the monitor for real to help President Bush
get rid of all the bad guys who want to take away our freedom.
Computer games are fun, but there are some out there that are
very violent. I play some games that are violent but I would never
think about actually hurting someone or their families. The terrorists
don't think of anyone but themselves and don't care who they kill.
They killed Americans from many nations because America is
made up of people from every nation. The terrorists don't care
if they kill innocent people or if their victims have families waiting
for them to come home. These terrorists are sick people. They
live in caves and hide behind a religion they've twisted out of shape.
They are dangerous murderers, and need to be stopped before
they can carry out any more of their evil plans.
My friends talk about the terrorists and what they have done and
what they might do next. But we don't spend all our time worrying
about it. We don't like what is happening, but we have to live life
as normal as possible so we don't let them make us live in fear.
The Defenders Online Team is the best thing that could happen to the
Internet. It is very important for all of us to use the Internet in a
way. CyberSpacers sets a good example for everyone.
I can't wait to get my new D.O.T. ID Card & my official
CyberSpacers' Seal decal. I am going to put it on my Yamaha
Quad (4-wheeler). Maybe you could send me a few extras so
I could put them on my mini-bike, scooter and maybe on the backs
of my parent's cars.
I help around the house by mowing with my riding lawnmower. We
have a huge yard and it's a lot of work, but I like it. Especially when
I wear my CyberSpacers of America T-shirt. Sometimes I pretend
the lawnmower is a tank and I'm going after the bad guys. My family
calls me the Lawnmower Man.
I hope you like the virtual reality picture of you and me. If you ever
need a hand fighting cyber-crime or help making the Web a better
place, just let me know. In the meantime, I'll keep telling my friends
to tell their friends to tell their friends about CyberSpacers.
The world needs a super hero like you, Super-C! And we need
you right now - more than ever.
