Lesson Plan for Teachers

Welcome educators! That is, if you want to make a positive difference in the lives of your students via teaching-&-motivating them take the high road in cyberspace.

CyberSpacers' school program - L.E.A.R.N. - is a five-day outline designed to inspire class study and discussion relating to the uses of computers and the Internet. L.E.A.R.N. is applicable to various levels of student computer skills. However, the emphasis is on motivating the individual user to take full responsibility for one's own online behavior. Because we are always searching for ways to upgrade the program, encourages you to contact us with any input.

Educators are encouraged to visit CyberSpacers Teachers' Chalkboard and are welcomed to share and exchange ideas that will be applicable to specific learning experiences in the classroom with other teachers.

L.E.A.R.N. is directed to the center-ring position schools now occupy in making Internet use safe and rewarding for students and families. "MOTIVATION" is the key to ethical behavior - whether online or not. Empowering students to be tech-savvy is only the first step. Learning how to operate a computer and negotiate the Internet is merely the mechanics of the vehicle. Kids who are motivated to make the right judgement calls will gain the most when online. Good grades, trust and recognition have an impact. If you have any new thoughts on Internet motivation - share your ideas. We thank you in advance.
